The attrition rate in OPG has been extremely high comparative to other schools in the vicinity. Somewhere it gives an impression that it is being managed by businessmen instead of educationist...

Teachers now are much better than earlier. Academic incharge is from singapore and knows the international system so i hope teahers will learn more.

Here is the present situation:

School feels awesome. Life could not have been better than your kid boarding their stylish bus, enjoying they field trips, practical activities, swanky events etc. However here comes the caveat.... it all starts to cloud over real issues. Education takes a back seat. Teaching methods as listed in their newsletters look promising but I doubt if they are actually done successfully. Though the teachers seem nice and are very sweet, they have limited experience and no authority or say in crucial decisions. They are mere pawns in the hands of and unethical managerial staff. I challenge the very claim that the promoter make about not having a judgemental approach towards children. They are judging and cornering children at every step.

I do not agree with the above comment. Obviously i do agree that as a parent you hold your views but such views are very subjective. My view is that academically they are doing a great job without putting pressure on the children. I have also compared my child's books and notebooks with the children in my society who are studying in different schools. My inference is that OPG the same syllabus is covered in a very scientific way and made very easy for our kids. I think for some parents it is more important and their child takes stress while studying rather than understanding the core of the topic. My view- the school is doing a good job and also proving our child the elegance they have promised. I agree that the incident that happened was very unfortunate...however, since my child is in KG, I did not want her to be affected adversely by it...I felt that the incident was supposed to be taken normally and the School somewhere didnot want to create a hype and be insensitive about it... I feel that the Stand that the School took was good..
I also got to know that it were the School's personnel who reached the site first even before anyone else could have reached. They were with the aggrevied family throughout. Sometimes one has to go on with the normalcy of life...this should not be taken as insensitivity...
